We are currently looking for employers who would be interested in offering work based apprenticeships to young people, but we will also help you find the right trainee for your salon.

  • We train your apprentices to be commercially active to increase your salon turnover
  • We train to NVQ level 2 and 3
  • We encourage and motivate learners to exceed yours and their own expectations
  • We suit the needs of your business and care about your salon and its success

The Academy stresses the commitment in excellence in hair and beauty training. It is operated and owned by experts who have been successful in the industry.

Employers are one of the most important people in the training programme. The Academy will help to take the stress and strain out of training your staff and help you turn them into high fliers.

The young person, known as the apprentice, will be employed by your company and develop towards a position of responsibility. At the same time they will be working towards their NVQ Level 2 and/or Level 3 qualifications.

One of our training co-ordinators will visit you and your trainee to review their progress on a regular basis and will be happy to answer any queries you may have.

These visits will always be by appointment and a vital link between the salon and the Academy. You will also be updated on your trainee’s progress throughout the programme.

The Academy will supply training clients for apprentices to work on which will be evaluated by our assessors in the Academy. Our assessors will also be only too pleased to visit your salon for assessing by appointment if necessary.

If you wish us to help you recruit a young person for your salon, all you need to do is contact us by emailing

Employers Grants are available if eligible, please ask for details.
